Aberdeenshire | Mon–Fri, 37.5 hrs | £40,000–£45,000 DOE + OT
A well-established engineering company is looking for an experienced ROV Tooling Technician to join a close-knit workshop team. This is a hands-on role working on the assembly, commissioning, maintenance and repair of ROV and Remote Intervention tooling in a fast-paced, bespoke manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mechanical & hydraulic assembly and commissioning of ROV tooling
- Fault-finding, maintenance and repairs
- Working to tight deadlines with high-quality standards
- Liaising with clients and third parties
- Workshop admin, technical reports & spares identification
- Occasional offshore and ad-hoc site work
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in ROV / ROV tooling
- Strong mechanical & hydraulic skillset
- Solid knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems & control software
- Able to read drawings & schematics accurately
- Proactive, organised and team-focused
